Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Savver LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("Savver," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use Savver's website, dashboard, vaults, savings-goal tools, group vault features, Premium features, AI planning tools, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Savver is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old and reside in the United States.

1. Summary

Savver is a savings-goal planning, organization, banking-interface, and motivation platform. Savver is not a bank. Banking, deposit, savings account, money movement, and related financial services are provided by Column N.A. or another regulated financial partner where available.

We collect information to create accounts, operate vaults, provide group vaults, process Premium billing, support Column-powered banking features, send email and SMS communications, provide Savver AI planning, improve the Service, protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law, and market Savver.

We use service providers including Column, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Railway, OpenAI, Resend, Twilio, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag.

2. Personal information we collect

Account information

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, login credentials, authentication information, age confirmation, U.S. residency confirmation, account settings, notification preferences, and other information you provide when creating or managing an account.

Identity, compliance, and banking-related information

If you use Column-powered banking, deposit, savings, transfer, withdrawal, or group vault features, we and/or Column may collect information needed to verify identity, comply with law, provide financial services, prevent fraud, and operate the account program. This may include legal name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, tax or identity information, account status, verification status, compliance results, transfer information, balance information, transaction history, counterparty information, and related records.

Column or another regulated financial partner may collect and process additional information under its own terms and privacy notices. Savver may receive data from Column or related providers to display balances, histories, member information, deposit status, withdrawal status, transfer status, account status, and support information.

Vault and savings-goal information

We collect information you enter or generate in Savver, including vault names, categories, target amounts, timelines, goals, deposit schedules, recurring deposit settings, progress, tiles, milestones, vault terms, break/close actions, notes, labels, group vault settings, invitees, member activity, contribution activity, and related usage data.

Uploaded images and user content

We collect photos, images, notes, messages, labels, and other content you upload or create in Savver. Uploaded images may be connected to your vaults, goals, and group vaults and may be visible to invited members depending on your settings and the product experience.

Group vault information

If you create, join, or participate in a group vault, we may collect and share within that group certain information such as your display name, invitation status, role, group activity, contribution activity, goal progress, vault image, vault terms, messages, and other information shown in the group experience.

Premium, billing, and payment information

Savver Premium is processed by Stripe. We may collect Premium status, subscription start and end dates, renewal status, cancellation status, payment status, billing metadata, invoices, receipt information, and Stripe identifiers. Stripe collects and processes payment card and billing information under its own terms and privacy notices. Savver does not store full payment card numbers.

AI planning information

Savver AI uses the OpenAI API. When you use Savver AI, we may collect and process your prompts, chat messages, AI responses, vault context, savings-goal information, account context, and related usage information. We may send relevant information to OpenAI to generate responses and operate AI features.

Communications and support information

We collect messages, requests, emails, SMS interactions, support inquiries, feedback, survey responses, complaint details, and related communications. Emails may be sent using Resend. SMS messages may be sent using Twilio.

Device, usage, analytics, and advertising information

We may collect IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referral source, approximate location inferred from IP address, session activity, cookie identifiers, pixel identifiers, advertising identifiers, and other usage information.

We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag. These tools may collect information about your activity on Savver and across other websites or apps to measure performance, improve products, attribute conversions, and support advertising or retargeting.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, advertising, and service performance. Some cookies are necessary for the Service. Others support analytics, measurement, or advertising.

3. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, operate, secure, and maintain accounts;
  • verify eligibility, age confirmation, and U.S. residency confirmation;
  • provide vaults, savings-goal tools, progress tracking, group vaults, images, reminders, and Premium features;
  • support Column-powered banking, account, transfer, deposit, withdrawal, savings, compliance, and group vault features;
  • process Premium billing and subscription management through Stripe;
  • send transactional, account, security, legal, billing, Premium, vault, support, and service communications;
  • send marketing communications where permitted and manage opt-outs;
  • provide Savver AI planning and improve AI features;
  • respond to support requests and user inquiries;
  • analyze product performance, usage, conversion, and marketing effectiveness;
  • personalize content, reminders, and product experiences;
  • protect users, Savver, Column, Stripe, service providers, and the public;
  • prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, illegal activity, chargebacks, sanctions issues, or policy violations;
  • debug, maintain, improve, and develop the Service;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, tax, banking, reporting, recordkeeping, and contractual obligations; and
  • enforce our Terms and other policies.

4. How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information as follows:

Column and regulated financial partners

We disclose information to Column N.A. and any applicable regulated financial partner to provide banking, deposit, savings account, transfer, withdrawal, group vault, compliance, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping, support, and related financial services.

Payment processors

We disclose information to Stripe to process Premium subscriptions, billing, receipts, fraud prevention, disputes, refunds if required by law, and payment-related support.

Cloud, hosting, database, and infrastructure providers

We disclose information to Supabase, Vercel, Railway, and other infrastructure providers that host, store, secure, transmit, or process information for the Service.

AI providers

We disclose prompts, chat messages, vault context, and related information to OpenAI as needed to provide Savver AI.

Email and SMS providers

We disclose email, phone number, message content, delivery information, and communication preferences to Resend, Twilio, and related providers to send and manage communications.

Analytics and advertising partners

We disclose or make available device, usage, cookie, pixel, conversion, and interaction information to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and related advertising or measurement partners. This may be considered targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, sharing, or selling under certain privacy laws.

Group vault participants

If you use group vaults, we may disclose relevant group information to other members, invitees, contributors, or organizers as shown in the product experience.

Professional advisers and business operations

We may disclose information to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, security providers, consultants, and other professional advisers.

Legal, safety, and compliance

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, government requests, regulatory requirements, banking program requirements, sanctions rules, payment-network rules, or to protect rights, safety, security, users, Savver, Column, Stripe, or others.

Business transfers

We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, asset sale, or similar transaction involving Savver.

5. Targeted advertising, sale/share, and cookies

Savver uses advertising and analytics tools, including Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag. These tools may help us measure ads, understand conversions, create audiences, and show ads to people who may be interested in Savver.

Depending on the law that applies, our use of advertising pixels and similar tools may be considered a "sale," "sharing," targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising, even if we do not sell personal information for money.

You may request to opt out of targeted advertising or sale/share by contacting us at savverapp5@gmail.com. Savver should also provide a cookie banner, cookie settings tool, and a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link before scaling paid advertising.

Savver should not send bank account numbers, Column account identifiers, transaction details, vault balances, AI chat content, sensitive identity information, or uploaded private images to advertising pixels.

6. Email and SMS choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email where available or by contacting us. You may opt out of marketing SMS by replying STOP where supported.

Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send transactional, security, account, legal, billing, Premium, banking, support, and service-related communications.

7. Privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, opt-out of targeted advertising, opt-out of sale/share, or appeal of a privacy decision.

Savver is intended for U.S. residents only. We may offer privacy choices even where not legally required, but some requests may be limited by identity verification, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, banking recordkeeping, Column or financial-partner requirements, payment obligations, disputes, or technical limitations.

8. California and U.S. state privacy notice

This section applies where California or similar U.S. state privacy laws apply to Savver.

In the past 12 months, Savver may have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • identifiers, such as name, email address, phone number, IP address, account identifiers, and device identifiers;
  • customer records information, such as billing information, contact information, and account information;
  • protected classification information, only where needed for age eligibility or compliance purposes;
  • commercial information, such as Premium subscription status, invoices, receipts, vault activity, and transaction-related records;
  • internet or electronic network activity, such as pages viewed, interactions, cookies, pixels, and analytics data;
  • geolocation information, such as approximate location inferred from IP address;
  • audio, electronic, visual, or similar information, such as uploaded images and support messages;
  • professional or employment-related information only if you voluntarily provide it in support messages or account content;
  • inferences, such as product preferences, marketing segments, and usage patterns; and
  • sensitive personal information, such as account login credentials, financial account-related information, and identity verification information where required for Column-powered services.

We collect these categories from you, your device, service providers, Column, Stripe, analytics partners, advertising partners, and group vault participants. We use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. We may share personal information with advertising and analytics partners in ways that may be considered a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising under certain laws.

You may contact us at savverapp5@gmail.com to request access, correction, deletion, opt-out, or other available rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights, but some features may not work without necessary information.

9. Financial privacy and Column notices

When you use Column-powered banking, deposit, savings account, transfer, withdrawal, or related financial services, Column or another regulated financial partner may provide separate terms and privacy notices. Those notices may explain how financial information is collected, used, shared, retained, protected, and disclosed under financial privacy laws and banking rules.

Savver's Privacy Policy applies to Savver's data practices. Column's and other financial partners' notices apply to their own data practices.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, manage accounts, operate vaults, support Column-powered services, provide Premium, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, maintain security, and improve the Service.

Banking, payment, compliance, tax, fraud, transaction, consent, and legal records may be retained longer where required by law, Column or partner program requirements, payment rules, or legitimate business needs. Uploaded content and account data may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, app, database, AI system, financial technology platform, or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and promptly notifying us of unauthorized access.

12. Children's privacy

Savver is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old and reside in the United States. Savver is not intended for children or minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

13. International users

Savver is offered only to users who reside in the United States. Do not use Savver if you are outside the United States. If you access Savver from outside the United States despite this restriction, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated policy, changing the effective date, sending an email, displaying an in-app notice, or using another reasonable method.
