Legal
Terms of Service
Effective date: June 29, 2026
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Savver LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("Savver," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of Savver's website, dashboard, vaults, savings-goal tools, group vault features, Premium features, AI planning tools, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, clicking "I agree," using Savver, joining a group vault, using a Column-powered banking feature, receiving communications from Savver, or purchasing Savver Premium, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Savver.
1. What Savver is
Savver is a web-based savings-goal planning, organization, banking-interface, and motivation platform. Savver helps users create savings goals, organize vaults, upload optional images connected to goals, track progress, use AI planning tools, receive reminders, invite group participants, and access Premium features.
Savver is not a bank. Bank accounts, deposit account features, savings account features, money movement, payment rails, custody of funds, and related regulated financial services are provided by Column N.A. or another regulated financial partner where available, not by Savver. Savver provides software, user experience, goal-planning tools, vault interfaces, communication tools, and support workflows.
Savver is not a credit union, broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, tax adviser, legal adviser, escrow agent, fiduciary, debt counselor, or payment card network. Savver does not provide investment, tax, legal, or credit advice and does not guarantee savings outcomes.
2. U.S.-only eligibility and age requirement
Savver is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old and reside in the United States. By creating an account or using Savver, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into these Terms, and located in the United States.
Savver is not intended for children or minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may suspend or delete the account, subject to any legal, safety, banking, or recordkeeping obligations.
You may not use Savver if applicable law prohibits you from using the Service, if you are located outside the United States, if you are subject to sanctions or other restrictions, or if we previously suspended or terminated your account for violating these Terms.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate, current, and complete account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account, except to the extent caused by Savver's breach of these Terms or applicable law.
You agree to promptly notify us at savverapp5@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised or if your contact information changes. We may require additional verification before restoring access, changing account information, processing privacy requests, providing support, or allowing access to financial-partner features.
4. Identity verification, compliance screening, and Column-powered services
Some Savver features involve banking, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, account balances, transaction records, or group savings features provided through Column N.A. or another regulated financial partner. To use those features, you may be required to provide identity, contact, tax, banking, and compliance information; complete verification; satisfy fraud, sanctions, anti-money-laundering, know-your-customer, and program requirements; and agree to additional Column, bank, payment-network, transfer, or program terms.
Savver may transmit your instructions, data, and account information to Column or other service providers as needed to provide the Service, process transactions, prevent fraud, comply with law, provide support, and operate group vault features. Column or the applicable regulated financial partner may approve, reject, delay, reverse, restrict, or close financial features as permitted by their terms, program rules, payment-network rules, risk controls, or law.
Savver is not responsible for delays, holds, reversals, rejected transfers, account restrictions, compliance reviews, bank outages, network delays, partner errors, or actions taken by Column, another regulated financial partner, Stripe, payment networks, or other third-party providers, except to the extent required by law.
5. Vaults, savings goals, and progress tools
Savver vaults and savings goals are planning, organization, and motivation tools. A vault, goal, reminder, streak, milestone, progress bar, commitment, tile animation, image, group view, or similar feature is not itself a bank account, deposit account, stored-value account, investment account, trust account, escrow, payment guarantee, debt instrument, or legal savings obligation.
If a vault is connected to Column-powered banking functionality, the underlying account, balance, deposit, withdrawal, or transfer functionality is governed by the applicable Column or financial-partner terms. Savver's dashboard may display information received from Column or other providers. Displayed balances, contribution status, transfer status, and history may be delayed, incomplete, pending, corrected, or unavailable.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including target amounts, timelines, labels, images, notes, contribution expectations, invitees, and group settings. Savver may generate reminders, estimates, progress calculations, or motivational prompts based on information you provide. Those outputs are estimates only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your personal circumstances.
6. Vault Commitments
A "Vault Commitment" or similar pledge is a personal accountability and motivation feature. It is not a legally binding contract with Savver, other users, group members, or any third party unless separate written terms expressly say otherwise.
You should not create commitments, recurring deposits, savings plans, or group expectations that could cause financial hardship, overdraft fees, missed bills, inability to pay for necessities, or conflict with your other obligations. You remain responsible for your own budget, bills, taxes, debts, transfers, and financial decisions.
7. Group vaults
Savver allows users to create or participate in group vaults. Group vaults may allow invitees, contributors, or members to see certain group-related information, such as the vault name, image, goal, progress, participant information, member status, contribution activity, balance information, messages, or other information shown in the product experience.
Only invite people you trust. Do not join or contribute to a group vault if you do not want relevant group information to be visible to other members. Group members may save, screenshot, copy, or share information outside Savver despite our rules. Savver does not control what other users do with information they can access.
Group vault banking, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and account services are provided through Column or another regulated financial partner where available. Savver does not guarantee that a group member will contribute, continue participating, reach a goal, repay another person, or use funds for a stated purpose. Savver does not mediate personal disputes between users except as required by law or necessary to enforce these Terms.
8. Uploaded photos and user content
You may upload photos, images, labels, notes, messages, goals, and other content to Savver ("User Content"). You own your User Content, subject to any rights held by others.
You grant Savver a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, transmit, format, and use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, support, and provide the Service, including showing content in your vaults, group vaults, account tools, support workflows, and related features.
You represent that you have all rights needed to upload your User Content and that your User Content does not violate law, infringe anyone's rights, contain malware, expose another person's private information without permission, or include content that is abusive, deceptive, unlawful, sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful, threatening, or otherwise harmful.
We may remove or restrict User Content if we believe it violates these Terms, law, third-party rights, security requirements, or product safety standards.
9. Savver AI
Savver AI is an AI-powered planning and motivation feature that may use the OpenAI API and may process your prompts, chat messages, vault information, goal information, and related context to generate responses. Savver AI is provided for educational, organizational, motivational, and informational purposes only.
Savver AI does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, credit, debt, banking, or professional advice. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs and making your own decisions. Do not rely on Savver AI as your sole source of information.
Do not submit information to Savver AI that you do not want processed by Savver or its AI service providers. Savver may restrict, monitor, or disable AI features to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or manage risk.
10. Savver Premium
Savver Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks Premium features. The Premium price is $2.99 per month, which provides Premium access for a 30-day billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.
By purchasing Premium, you authorize Savver and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the Premium price, taxes if applicable, and any other charges disclosed at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, Premium renews automatically every month or 30-day period until canceled.
You may cancel Premium at any time. If you cancel, you may continue to use Premium features until the end of the current paid period. After the paid period ends, Premium features will stop unless you restore Premium.
Except where required by law, Premium payments are non-refundable. Savver does not provide refunds or credits for partial months, unused time, inactive accounts, forgotten cancellations, read-only vault periods, or unused Premium features.
11. What happens if Premium lapses
If Premium lapses, expires, is canceled, or payment fails, Premium-locked vaults and Premium features may become read-only or frozen. This may include no new deposits through Premium flows, no recurring deposits through Premium flows, no new invites or group actions, no Savver AI access, and no other Premium-only features.
Even if Premium lapses, you can still view available balances, history, members, and vault terms within the limits of the Service and applicable financial-partner rules. You can also restore Premium or request to break, close, or exit the vault as allowed by the product and applicable Column or financial-partner terms.
Savver will not intentionally use a lapsed Premium subscription to prevent access to legally required account information, required customer support, withdrawal or closure rights, or other rights that must remain available under applicable law or applicable financial-partner terms.
12. Payments, Stripe, taxes, and billing issues
Premium payments are processed by Stripe. Savver does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe may collect payment information, billing information, device information, fraud-prevention information, and other information subject to Stripe's terms and privacy notices.
You are responsible for keeping your payment method current. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, suspend Premium, freeze Premium-only features, or terminate Premium access. Prices may change in the future, but any price change will apply only after notice and as permitted by law.
You are responsible for taxes, data charges, bank fees, overdraft fees, chargeback fees, or other third-party fees that may apply to your use of Savver, Stripe, Column, your financial institution, your mobile carrier, or other providers.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us promptly at savverapp5@gmail.com.
13. Email, SMS, and notifications
Savver may send you transactional, account, security, legal, support, vault, Premium, billing, banking, and service-related notices by email, SMS, in-app notice, push notification if mobile apps are later launched, or other electronic means.
Email messages may be sent using Resend. SMS messages may be sent using Twilio. Message and data rates may apply. SMS delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed or blocked by carriers.
Marketing emails will include required opt-out mechanisms where applicable. Marketing SMS messages require separate consent where required by law and may be stopped by replying STOP. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional, security, legal, billing, or account notices that are necessary to provide the Service.
Your use of electronic notices is also governed by Savver's Electronic Communications Consent.
14. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Savver. You may not:
- violate law, these Terms, payment-network rules, Column or financial-partner terms, or third-party rights;
- provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
- use Savver for illegal transactions, fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing, scams, harassment, exploitation, or abusive conduct;
- upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, exploitative, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, or harmful content;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service;
- reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, or extract data except as permitted by law;
- attempt to bypass security, compliance, billing, eligibility, geo-restriction, or rate-limit controls;
- use Savver to spam, phish, manipulate, deceive, or pressure other users; or
- use Savver in a way that creates legal, security, operational, financial, or reputational risk for Savver, Column, Stripe, users, or third parties.
15. Third-party services
Savver uses third-party services to operate the Service, including Column, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Railway, OpenAI, Resend, Twilio, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy notices, service limitations, outages, data practices, and dispute processes.
Savver is not responsible for third-party services except as required by law. Your use of Column-powered banking features, Stripe payments, carrier SMS, AI tools, or other third-party services may require separate terms and permissions.
16. Privacy
Savver's Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. By using Savver, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
If you use Column-powered banking features, Column or the applicable financial partner may provide separate privacy notices and account terms. Those notices may apply in addition to Savver's Privacy Policy.
17. Intellectual property
Savver, the Savver name, logos, product designs, software, workflows, text, visuals, interfaces, vault concepts, tiles, animations, and other materials are owned by Savver or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, we do not grant you ownership or other rights in Savver's intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from Savver's software, designs, branding, or content except as permitted by law or expressly allowed by us.
18. Feedback
If you send us suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant Savver the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
19. Service changes and availability
Savver may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including free features, Premium features, AI tools, group features, banking integrations, notifications, and mobile app availability. We may impose limits, eligibility requirements, verification requirements, or security controls.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available at any particular time, or compatible with every device or browser.
20. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, freeze, or terminate your access to Savver if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed verification, used the Service unlawfully, abused other users, failed to pay Premium charges, or if required by Column, Stripe, another provider, law, security, or compliance obligations.
You may stop using Savver at any time. Account deletion, vault closure, withdrawal, and banking-feature termination may be subject to identity verification, fraud review, recordkeeping requirements, Column or financial-partner terms, pending transfers, legal holds, dispute processes, or applicable law.
21. Disclaimers
Savver is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Savver disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted service.
Savver does not guarantee that you will save money, reach a goal, avoid fees, avoid overdrafts, improve financial behavior, maintain relationships with group members, receive any particular result, or that AI outputs or progress calculations will be accurate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
22. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Savver LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, savings, opportunity, or business, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Savver's total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid Savver for Premium during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) $25.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
23. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Savver LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the Service, User Content, violation of these Terms, violation of law, misuse of group vaults, or infringement of third-party rights.
24. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Subject to any rights that cannot be waived by law, you and Savver agree that disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
No arbitration clause is included in these Terms. If Savver later adopts arbitration or a class-action waiver, users should receive legally appropriate notice and an updated version of the Terms.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms, changing the effective date, sending an email, displaying an in-app notice, or using another reasonable method. Your continued use of Savver after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms.
